Dr. Shawn Moore is a public speaker and professional coach as well as a professor at Bethel University and Metro State University. He earned a doctorate specializing in racial reconciliation Prior to attending seminary, Dr. Moore worked as a law enforcement officer and served in the United States Navy.
In his doctoral research, Dr. Shawn Moore explored the topic of reconciliation as a means for spiritual development and corporate unity through individual and group practices. Dr. Moore explored the transformational practices of developmental coaching and the Alcoholics Anonymous Twelve Steps as a vehicle to create long lasting harmony in place of personal stagnation or group disharmony.
Dr. Moore has eighteen years of experience teaching and conducting cross-cultural, conflict resolution, and community engagement workshops and training. He has taught in this field as an adjunct professor, senior training officer, and community-training liaison. As an educator and certified coach, he brings research, hands-on experience, creativity, and insight to his teaching and training.
